Theater Problem 1: Unsupervised Tweens

So on Friday night we went to the movie Warm Bodies don't get me wrong it was a great movie. However, we were surrounded by the an entire middle school worth of tweens who never ever ever stopped talking. It was horrible, the loudest theater I have ever been in I literally had a headache by the time the movie started. Kids yelling between the rows,  carrying on, talking on their iphones, reserving a whole row of seats so that familys that were trying to be seated together had no chance at all at one point we even moved so that a father who was escorting his daughters could actually sit with his daughters. All of this was taking place with basically no adult supervision so my question is where were all their parents and if they were in the theather did they not respect the fact that others had paid to enjoy a movie enough to make sure their children were not behaving obnoxiously.

Normally I don't mind kids in movies but this was the worst I have ever seen. I actually had to ask the kids seated next to us to be quiet when the movie started because they refused to stop talking. what are your thoughts on letting kids go to movies in a large group unsupervised?
